as im an engineer im gona make up a few new indicator cancelling  parts for the mk2 escort , there seems to be a shortage of these parts ,and are quite expensive to buy secondhand , whats everyones thoughts on this  cheers

I think that's the plastic original he's copying ! I'm sure if they can be produced economically, can be sold at a reasonable cost and that a metal piece doesn't wear or break the switch assembly - you'll sell loads, maybe. Doesn't look to difficult for a CNC mill once the part has been CAD'd out - good luck.

I have been planning on doing something like that for many years so if your making metal ones im in! I have a good plastic one I have been planning on having copied but wasn't sure where to go about it. So if your doing a multiple batch thingy count me in!
