MK1 cortina bonnet badge??

Hi all

So I saw a while back a different bonnet badge for the MK1, they were all big money so left it but found one on eBay for cheap, so decided to buy it. 

Thing is, it's smaller than the normal badge, an pins are in different location. So can anyone shed any light on what this is off?

I searched images online an can't see it?

Put a normal badge frame with it for reference

So were the bonnets slightly different? The pins don't line up with mine an the bulge in the bonnet is a fair bit wider?
