Springalex steering wheel

Hi everyone, first of all this is a cool forum and I've seen some really nice and interesting cars. I have recently acquired a springalex steering wheel in a trade.

Since I mostly collect Chinese antiques and other antique stuff this is way out of my field. I am wondering if anyone has some more info on it, I was thinking of putting it on ebay but maybe a member here has interest in a trade. 

 

The diameter is 33cm and is about 10-11cm in height.

does it say springalex on the wheel itself or just on the centre?

Just the centre, should there be some markings to be found if I take it apart?

What size is the diameter of the splined area? 

I got this vase just inside my garage door that I use for our umbrellas that we use for our umbrellas.

😂Knew I had seen this one somewhere before. Diameter is 1.8cm.
