Thank you for your reply.  We do not know if the MK 1 is the same as the MK 2.  Perhaps Ford used what they had in stock at the time.   I understand  they may have done  this with a number of parts.

My mk1 is a lot different to my mk2, that mk1 clear one with good lettering isn’t easy to find
