Colin Bond seen in that video purchased two original RS1800s from Ford in the UK and only ever used one of them for racing. The second is rumoured to still reside in his garage to this day totally undriven. He later went on to race Sierras in the Australian Touring car championships. His co-driver who is interviewed John Dawson-Daimer had a large property beside a race track called Oran Park (now a housing estate) and he owned a couple of Lotus Formula 1 cars so he allowed Club Lotus to have BBQs and car meets on his property. It was at one of these meets I did car swapsies with my Twincam for a Honda NSX (The original one) It was crap round the paddock on the grass, till he told me to turn the traction control off!
