Given that they're Down under, they look like they could be Simmons wheels. Here's some Simmons rims fitted to a Australian Montreal, looks the same huh?

I think alloys are a personal choice and it takes careful selection to get the wheel to match and look right on an Old skool motor. Unfortunately that almost always means buying new if you want something that looks a little different to the mainstream

the daddies of all cossie wheels. i wanted some for my orion for a long time, but couldn't find any second handin the correct fitment

Nah bearing in mind the car is from Oz, the more I look at them the more I'm certain they're Simmons wheels

Look, the spokes in the Hockenheim are parallel, the ones on the white escort are angled inwards

 

 

And here's the Simmons version, see the difference? (ignore the fact that it's a five stud as they do both options)

Personally i think they " look" too new ..

 

But then i'm stuck in a timewarp and the only wheels for a Non-Rally car bubbled escort is the Compomotive CX or a copy of that design.
