Vista Estate Posted March 4, 2025 Report Posted March 4, 2025 Hi All, A friend of mine has an original untouched 1100 Mk2 and needs to replace is windscreen washer pump that's failed. He's looking for a new old stock pump if anyone has one for sale please. Message me and I will sort out contact. Thanks

The mk2 pump fits into the front of the washer bottle through a rubber grommet and has electrical connections on top. There is a water feed to the washers at the bottom.

He has just sent me these @Miniliteman
Miniliteman Posted March 4, 2025 Report Posted March 4, 2025 Here is a NOS Mk2 Escort item (also used on some other models, 76BG is a Cortina partno): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226262181868 I have a similar washerpump but it has a 79VB partno (Transit) and it has a black body.
Vista Estate Posted March 4, 2025 Author Report Posted March 4, 2025 Thanks @Miniliteman. This is in Australia so I think my friend would struggle. I will pass it on to him though.
Miniliteman Posted March 5, 2025 Report Posted March 5, 2025 (edited) If he is happy with an aftermarket one: https://www.historicmotorsport.net/shop/new-parts/accessories/mk2-escort-washer-bottle-pump/ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/316142155551 or a NOS (!) one on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256823532131 Edited March 5, 2025 by Miniliteman
Vista Estate Posted March 5, 2025 Author Report Posted March 5, 2025 Many Thanks @Miniliteman. I will pass them on to him. He's trying to keep it original so NOS is preferred.
Vista Estate Posted March 7, 2025 Author Report Posted March 7, 2025 Thank you for all your help gang especially @Miniliteman. My friend has managed to find a NOS pump now. 👍
