As per title really, anyone going to Classic Ford Show Sunday? South of England Showground RH17 6TL

I'm going along in the old bucket, be good to see some fellow OSF'ers there

A tad too far for me I’m afraid in the Escort. I might go next year in the Focus and stay over, make nuisance of myself in the local drinking establishments 🤣🍺

Seems a long time since our club stand was dominating that show. It just doesn't have the pull for me anymore unfortunately

Agreed Scott, it'll never be the same as  when we had 100+ car stands, but that's life I guess.

But it's local for me so rude not to.

hi, i also will be there, with my grey mk2 escort van, i will be one of the single showers, it's not the same as the old show, but if the hundred cars from the old show would come, it would be the same, i do get it, that it's futher away for some, i have to drive 300 km from holland, take a risk of drowning in a tunnel, then drive up to the show, and i am  still not complaning, cheers marcel

I'm fighting with my rocker cover that's seriously leaking at the moment. Fingers crossed I resolve it so I can take my RS2 otherwise I'll be going in the family car which will be disappointing.

And after running for 15minutes without leaking….. it leaks!🤬 so I won’t be taking the RS. I hate this car at the moment!

Where is it leaking.

I think I have a spare rocker cover, pretty sure it's chrome plated.

I can dig it out tonight and bring with me tomorrow if you'd like to try it?

It’s leaking at the back and pouring down the back over the bell housing. Thanks for the offer but I have another being powder coated at the moment. I’ll come by for a chat.

Nice to meet you mate, gutted about the car, but it'll be ok, just frustrating hey

You too, It was very frustrating but a blessing in disguise because some t*sser pulled out a side turning when I was about 20 foot away at 60mph on the way home I think the modern braking and it allowing me to steer was the only reason I never hit him, in fact I don't know how I avoided him! Happy days! I would have been well pi**ed off if I was in the RS2.

Oh god yeah! That's what I'm very aware of, 50+ year old breaking technology versus new is chalk and cheese
