Rick Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 does anyone else completely flip when things dont go right? the frustration of trying sooo hard and it just doesnt happen. i could seriously fookin kill at the min.... had to replace some bolts: the ones that go through the tca and the engine crossmember well iv fitted polybushes so its reeeally tight in there. so struggled and struggled to get this bolt through cuz it was hard to line up. after bout half hour i managed it only to find id fooked the thread on the end so couldnt get the nut on had to walk away in the end and il try again tomoz with an extra pair of hands. some things are just too awkward on your own
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 I can sympathise with you mate, I have been there many times before. My pet hates are exhaust systems, and Track Control Arms You have done the right thing though, just down tools, and relax, it's a new day tomorrow
Ian1300 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Yeah i get so piised off when things arn't going too smooth For example, Monday got home locked the metro (ok its a metro but the escorts in bits) with the key fob and came back out to it when it was snowing an hour later and i couldn't unlock the f**kin thing with the fob, so unlocked it with the key and the alarm is going off so ran inside got the other key still not working. starting to get pissed off now so i went back inside and then went back out tried again no joy. but this time when i come in i lost my temper and lauched the keys and wall and they exploded relieved the stress at the time. i laugh now but i cant drive the thing cos the imboliser stuck on and so now its at rover havin the fookin keys re programed just because its lost its memory and now i'm gonna have to spend 50 -100 quid on a £200 motor just to get the bloody thing running. i hate modern electrics rant over
RETRO_AL Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 best way i have found is to put the tca in first without the rollbar in, but you will need a small rachet strap to attached to both ends of the rollbar which will bend the rollbar so you can get the rollbar into the tcas realy realy easy when you do it this way the other way is a nightmare like you have said
Rick Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 sounds like a plan. didnt want to have to unbolt all that again though if things get tense again il defo try it cheers
escortmad79 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Oooooohh yes!! Lump hammer+ Scrap Mk2 Escort shell*= greater frustration relief than one of them squeezable stress balls! Hit the rear quarters right on the back edge & they crumple nicely *this can be adapted for other cars.... Novas & Paxos would be an ideal substitue
Rick Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 when i used to get pissed off with my old micra id punch the shit outa it lol alwasy regretted it afterwards though
johnny_h Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 It always makes me laugh, people smashing the fook out of thier own possessions in fits of rage! My mate has smashed tons of expensive games consoles against his living room wall when things haven't gone his way. I put it down to sexual frustration. lol
V8ian Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Nuffink wrong with a C-nt and a Kick know and then.
GT_Jim Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 brute force and ignorance and if in doubt give it a clout
