Admin Vista Posted May 13, 2007 Admin Report Posted May 13, 2007 Major Major wash out, those that came, thanks for making the effort. And the wise ones that stayed at home? Just kidding you made the right call. Big up to Ann and Neil for coming all the way from Hertfordshire, hope the kids enjoyed Crealy more than they did the Classic Fords. See you both at the Classic Ford Show. Right I'm off to dry out now and watch the Spanish GP, see the day's not a total loss after all

Admin Vista Posted May 13, 2007 Admin Report Posted May 13, 2007 Ha I came up most had left so went to Makro and bought lots of stuff because it was cheap! I think we stayed for about 30 / 40 mins but it was like standing under a hose pipe, I was drenched from the knees down (wisely bought a large golf brolly yesterday) Would you believe it's brightened right up now?? At least it has where I live, some 50 miles west of Exeter.
Mrp Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 Yep sun shining and the missus has the washing out on the line!! Thanks for the heads up on flambards Scott but will have to give it a miss sadly, all my welding and repairs are done on the anglia so must get on preping the body for paint......I feel some sore fingers comming on!

escortmad79 Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 After a heavy night on the I was in no fit state to drive... so spent a large part of the day in bed
Pipster007 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 I must say, it was an entertaining drive all the way back home by which time, the sun came out just as I was sitting down for dinner Good to finally put a face to the name now Scott. Shame about the rain, just make sure it's sunny the next time I come down
Richierich Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Wash out hardly describes it! More like wash away, had the misses moping up water coming in through the windscreen coming down the motorway, well dodgy! We went after about 20 minutes and a cuppa tea, went back later when it brightened up but most people had left. At least the inside of the scort got a wash down anyway!
