 Anybody been in the same boat as my Bro, DAGGLE & i when fitting Supaflex bushes on the anti-tramp bars of a MK1 CORTINA GT.After spending a good 5 and a half hours of swearing and losing many many brain cells thinking of ways to make the rear axle line back up after having to bend the welded brackets on the axle & the body to 1st of all make the anti-tramp bars fit,as the bushes stick out a couple of millimetres more than the original FORD metalastic bushes on either side of the bar  I've always used Supaflex and rate their product as 1st class as i've used them before on my MK2 Escort RS2000 & my MK5 RS2000 and they did exactly what they said on the packet!! We just had major problems getting everything to line up,the rear shackle's,shock absorbers, prop shaft & spring hangers inc the lowering blocks and u-bolts were taken off to complete our mission!!! The whole car has the Supaflex bushes fitted to it and the other area which caused a bit of a problem was the pitman arm and the idler arm to the centre link polybush conversion(WAKE UP THERE AT THE BACK!!!! I rang Supaflex and was told not to cut the bushes in half to make them fit in the centrelink but my Step-father ,who is a mechanic, had to as they could not be pressed into place, then we had to physically wind the bolts into place in the bush. Its all good now  cos its effing tight, feels good :D

new bushes are always a pain to fit.

at least we have split polybushes,

back in the day youd be trying to hammer a big fat bush through a nice small hole

just fitted a polybush set to my mex, had to turn down the diameter of the shackel bushes and cut down the lenght of the front tramp bar bushes are they were the wrong size, funny I dont remember the bloke on the phone mentioning that a lather was required to fit them.
