yeah id say you could, the paint might not stick to the endcap tho as its slightly err bobbly?, but all that will happen is it may peel off in a few months but it wont be a big deal to redo it if it does, but do ever steam or pressure wash it cus it will come off in sheets lol. but yeah just flush fill it, key the whole endcap with scotchbright and satin black it, but do both encaps or they will look odd.
