Yeah 6 X 13 with 175/50s. Been looking at 7 X 13 RS replicas and minilites, polished rims with graphite interior. But also looking for a set of 7 X 13 old skool compomotive, mls I think they are. Just want something a bit more...............well bigger and wider!

You might want a mild road cam in that to make the 40s work to the best of their ability. And the bhp will depend on how strong the engine is and how well the 40s are set up..............A rolling road session is aways a bonus!

Well I had a week before I start my new job, so thought it was about time to do some of those jobs that I have been meaning to make a start on. So jobs done so far, and considering I am doing this in a tiny cramped garage with no power! 1. Removal of the 2" lowering blocks and installation of new 1" blocks. 2. Removal of the front bumpers - resprayed and awaiting refit, once I receive one part. 3. Removal of the large flat pipercross air filter and installation of the new k & n filter. 4. Rubbed down the acquired sport/mexico genuine spot light brackets. Respray and install. 5. Install engine bay stickers. Still to do 1. Remove door cards and install the blanked out speaker grills to hide the pre cut holes. Also fit new clips. 2. Fit the custom remote door mirror. 3. Change the consul switches and cigarette lighter. 4. Change the steering cowl. 5. Find a set for 7 X 13 inch wheels. 6. Re valet the body and under the bonnet 7. Install spotlights once I find a nice set. 8. Anything else I find as I am going! Happy with how it's all going but wish I had a double garage with a pit, power and water, oh and a beer fridge!

On the picture of your nuts, still makes me laugh, I use the open ended smaller ones with the wider bottoms .........that makes me smile too.........how childish! Pete

A full set of pedal rubbers have just gone on flea bay, but for a mk2, so not sure if they will be the same? Pete

I have laser alloys on my mk2 at the moment, and I am pretty sure that they have a 60 degree taper, obviously I have metric studs though. Hope this helps. Pete

They do require the tapered type nuts, anything else will just flap about. Pete

You need wheel nuts that fit

That look like mk2 arms, but I have no idea if they are different, as I have not had a mk1 for years, but my mk2 RS only has 8" blades I think. Maybe look for some other mk1 arms.............maybe? Just a though. Pete

Sweet motor....... Bought mine sight unseen via flea bay, I also bought a one way ticket, the return was only a quid more but figured that would be too negative, final payment via bank transfer. The guy, Scott picked me up from the station in his snoop nosed 993 and he booted it back to his place in the county. My mk2 RS was sitting on his drive, it just rolled back the years for me! A quick test drive and complete the paperwork. Then left from Leicester to berkshire via a petrol station. Loads of people at the petrol station all over the car.............horns blasting, thumbs up, people video in her as I drove down the motorway. She never missed a beat. I was and still am a happy man, still have bits and pieces to do..........but that's just me!

Hi mate, yeah already mailed the guy, but to be honest I might be looking for the normal mounts, the two up two down are right bulky .............. plus 4 x cibies will cost a fortune!

Oh and they have a blue mk1 rs2000 listed too, and numerous other bargains NOT!
