I used to go to this meet when I lived in Ascot, always a great assortment of cars and always busy. The best thing is trying to see people get pit via the barrier once their ticket is validated..........I have seen the barrier removed by force lol. Happy days

I had a single 45 on a lynx manifold on my second mk2 rs that I bought of a German guy while I was in BAOR in the late 80s. The pinto had a piper 285 cam and a single box janspeed system. I drove it back to the UK to have the carb set up on a rolling road in some place in Shropshire, they did a great job and it drove so much better.
