Yeah once set up correctly it was really good, and of course you get a bit of induction sound from the 45 that is always addictive lol.

I had a single 45 on a lynx manifold on my second mk2 rs that I bought of a German guy while I was in BAOR in the late 80s. The pinto had a piper 285 cam and a single box janspeed system. I drove it back to the UK to have the carb set up on a rolling road in some place in Shropshire, they did a great job and it drove so much better.
