  2. Wow, that is a hole and a half But.... Is it an 'E'???? No! Not good enough to be an E. Just a lowly old super. Rusty's rusty super!
  3. Mind you, my Cortina is no stranger to the welder. Check out this pic from a few years ago:
  4. I did the usual ' just jack the Cortina up and do a couple of little patches' for the MOT today Ended up cutting out about a foot of chassis rail each side by the front spring hanger. Also loads of floor pan and jacking point. I love welding, don't you!!?
  5. Hi. I bought their rebound adjustable struts only the other week. Had to have them made extra short to stop them from bottoming out. No pics, but you can see them in real life if you wanna. My car is in the workshop at the mo so not too far from you
  6. Those calipers have the pipe fitting in the middle like Mk2 Tina ones. Escort/Capri ones are different and have similar looking pads but they are a bit bigger, I think.
  7. Mitsubishi 'Pajero'. Anyone know what it means in Spanish?? Pretty funny stuff I reckon
  8. Not for me, ta very much
  9. Is that a bent mustang in the background too?? Looks like carnage
  10. Do not fret. I'm sure it will get rebuilt. They nearly always do. Terrible shame though
  11. Where do you find this stuff!! Pmsl!
  12. There is little doubt that your car handles exceptionally well, however, if FWD is actually better, why do (did?) touring cars have to carry a weight penalty if they were RWD?
  13. La la la la la! Warming up vocal chords!
  14. Fook off 'tinker lol'! Ones mine and one is my bruvs. The red one was my first car on the road and it will get rebuilt one day (hopefully)! I reckon its more solid than my flamed one was a few years ago so there is hope.
  15. Looks like she loves it too!
  16. Can't find one with the engine back in!
  17. No. We upgrade you and then you get down graded back to your original gradings.
  18. You need to be a contributor Must do contributings. It is very cheap
  19. Nice one Steve. The meeting was great and I love to see a bit of variety there. I have brought my truck along before. Variety is the spice of life and all that. I had an excellent weekend. Was less than 0.05 off running a 14. Less breakfast next time and it should do it. Johnny's Mex and my Tina behaved very well, so it would have been rude not to bring them along for dinner.l See you at the next one
  20. Not too successful I'm afraid. Turns out my carbs are only 40's with 45 covers on!! Still made 156.6 BHP and 147lb/ft so should be some improvement when I get the right carbs. As far as I know its a stock XE internally. Should still be along tomorrow to make up the numbers

He is my step son. His mum came too. It's a bit of a squeeze in the cab. As for being his hero - no chance. If it doesn't take batteries or have a TV screen then he's not the slightest bit interested!

    whats your

I've just come back from camping in France in my truck. We drove to the west coast and round Loire valley. It was great and the truck was good as gold. Not sure how far it was, but think it was 7 tank fulls!
  23. I've driven a 250f (like the first one in that vid) on the roads next to Donnigton. It was the absolute nuts! Fastest car I've driven I think. I Felt like Fangio!! Thanks for posting that, reminded me of a pretty coool day out
