  10. It is the same XE as last time. Just with new/second hand oil pump and cleaned up. It's a little inconvenient to have to repair it, but that engine was a nail anyway. Just looking at my options now. Chuck in a cut out XE, or build a proper one?? Just a question of what turns up and how much £££$$$£££$
  11. Yup
  12. Joined the M2 yeterday lunchtime and lost all power. Thought it might be an electrical problem. Noticed that the motor didn't sound right as it slowed though. Opened the bonnet to be greeted by the belts and crank pulley sitting on the front crossmember. Arse. Many a bent valve I should imagine. Just managed to get it on my mates recovery truck without scraping the deck. So..... I'm back to using my old truck while I sort out another engine or finish welding up the girlfriend's 1600E (see resto thread if interested)
  13. Not seen one like yours, but my workshop has a ZF outside it that a mate of mine is slowly restoring
  14. That is an excellent idea.
  15. Deffo looks like the white metal part of a big end/main to me. Not attracted to magnet as most of it (the steel part is still round the crank
  16. I like No. 7, but would rather see Union Jacks in the corners like No.4
