hi guys, next on my list for the capri is upgrading the brakes (well after i get all the interior back in ) but i dont know whats gonna stop me better i dont have a big budget but the price just changes how long ittl take till i upgrade as im starting from £0 and have no job atm its gonna take me a whil ebefore i can afford an upgrade at all BUT whats gonna stop it better m16 callipers with some good quality pads with drilled and grooved vented discs braided hoses and dot5.1 fluid (with new shoes and drums on the back) a wilwood 4 pot calliper kit from ral des with solid discs and fast road pads and the braided hoses and dot5.1 fluid .. like this one http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/pr ... s_id=10502 i dont really know which one to go for its a pinto capper rather thne a v6 if thats gonna make alot of difference

its fine by me ! its a cool look and its their car ! also why does it matter what engine its got in it i do agree that sometimes cars can be all show and no go but some of us are young and cant afford the insurance on a modified / fast car so why should we not be allowed to have a rep if thats the look we want ? Some King kool cars still have the original engines in and it could be argued that they are a bit of all sow no go but i dont see the harm in it !

my capri ? sometimes i get ppl telling me ive ruined it and a few ppl tell me its kool (even print that in rf for me dont they chris ) but i was just wondering how many peole like it and how many think ive fecked it etc its a 2.0s and was originalyl strato silver needs and will be getting a tidy up (with some more rattle cans) in the next few weeks but this is it as it stands atm

REALLY woried now lol my ne wengine has a lightened flywheel and on its first trip out all the bolts came undone and one of them snapped dont them back up and put locktite on the threads but should i swap back to the old flywheel ?

if you dont like ure clutch do as daveyboy said but instead of just booting it dip the clutch boot it and dump it while going round a corner the "snap" should get it going easier

hi guys, got a new engine yesterday got it all in and connected up re using my old fuel pump but its a new carb and theres no fuel coming through the lines so it wont fire ive checked for kinked lines and ive been turning the engine over for a while no joy ? what am i likely to have forgotten ?
