before i passed my test i would go out on a friday night and one night consumed 18 strongbows and 11 silver aftershocks and still walked home i dont tend to drink now tho and havent since passing my test other then mine and my best m8s 18th birthdays and its still somewhere around 6 pints of strongbow or magners beofre i start to feel drunk .. and about 10 and at that point i can still hold a conversation or order a taxi ...

i was in the same boat as you and given the choice i probably wouldnt do it again ... i would still have bought this capri but AS a project not as a daily driver you want something CHEAP and tht means cheap to insure cheap to run cheap to replace tyres on etc etc this is what i think im going to do now im gonna save up and buy a cheap runaround and work on the capri next year

i think my insurance is actually for 1.6 capri but i neve rhad to enter the engine size and it doesnt appear on my policy document ...

yeah you have got to check out insurance m8 i got my capri when i was 17 and insurance is £1654

i think a japri or a capuar would be the the round ones and i will dooo it it has to be the supercharged 4.2l v8 for me tho altho a straight six would be nice

i had the "pleasure" of rebuilding several pinto heads after about 10-20k on that vile stuff, if youd have seen what i saw you really wouldnt let it within 100 paces of your engine, let alone run it on the stuff, god knows what is is they use as the lead substitute, iron fillings by the looks of what i see. okidoki m8 its not going in again then lol (and the way i drive this car ill probably break the engine soon neway )
