I’m moving workshops and I’ve told the guy he needs to move his escort, he says he doesn’t have anywhere to put it so wants to sell it! originally a 1300e but now has round headlight front panel, I did try to get him to put a square headlight panel on but he’ho! was running last year but decided to pull the engine out and sort the engine bay, wings were removed new gutter rails, cut the top plates off and welded new ones back in (without RS strengthening), new front panel, slam panel, inner radiator panel , this needs painting to finish before engine can go back in running gear is 2.1 pinto on twin choke Weber, crossmember anti roll bar has been powder coated in black, 2.8i bilstein’s with vented discs and lowered springs, RS2000 gearbox and rear axle, 9in drums etc wheels are deep dish ford sports with 185/60/13 floors have been welded in the past and are solid but obviously not concours standard interior has fiesta rs1800 front recaros which are very good condition, 6 dial dash, 1300e rear bench, wood pack he said he wants 10k for it so I’m putting it out there, let me know your thoughts on price I’ve got a figure what I think it will sell for!   4. I do track days quite a lot, not in a classic ford though! Audi s3, Clio 172, not tried my evo 4 yet very enjoyable days though normally and get 10-15 of a group going at the same time

  20. I’ve been doing track days for a few years and will get the Anglia round brands once it’s done I bought all the dry sump stuff for £175 so not a great deal of cost
  21. Pulled the engine out and was hoping for nice bits to appear as in fast road cam etc but apart from lightened flywheel and Ap clutch that was it! No stamps on cam, no duplex timing chain ive been offered a 1600 xflow bottom end with some flat top pistons (yes I know it shouldn’t have flat tops), so will build that with my head etc Ill keep stripping the car boxing bits up then then can get on with welding
