  1. What a great weekend at the classic ford show; me and my eldest son Stuart took the Anglia. We had a great time on the strip on Saturday up until 8 o clock , some variety of cars on the track and walking round the pits, saw even more amazing ones. Had a chat with Jo, Kev, Kieran and Chris. Borrowed their compressor to get slicks on. On Sunday Kieran filmed a great vid of the car , a new PB, this will really help to see what to do next , (carpets and a paint job according to my wife!!) I'll get Stuart to put some pics up later. thanks to everyone .
  2. Do you know where it is now ?

  13. Thanks mate , the main reason I'm sticking with 14 inch dia is the stud pattern is 114.3 x 5 and the rims are slot mags for a Australian Granada that have a lot of backspace otherwise I would go for a13 inch slick like a lot of the osf racers .
  14. Im needing a pair of 14inch drag slicks , I was running a pair of 225 x14 Toyo 888 , they were just a bit wide and just cleared the back inner arch . At the strip but was told I was wasting my time and need slicks can anyone suggest where to try ?

  21. Im looking for a good 12 or 13 inch fan to sit at the engine side , so a puller. I was told a Pacet profan was a good un , but know if the company still exists , any recommendations ?
  22. Thanks for nice comments guys and you're right enough Khanlad, sometimes with all the grief you wonder why we bother but when it goes well it's definitely worth it. Like when I came home in the car last night, I parked up in the village to show a guy from work , when I came back, a lady had stopped beside my Anglia her dad was in the front of her car , he had spotted it from the main road , he was 102 years old and he said that an Anglia was his first car.
  23. After taking my Anglia to Shakespeare a couple of years back brought it back home with a wounded engine . Fast forward a couple of years and a few shekles later engine built and ready to go for Classic ford show last year though i trailered the car there electronic gremlins only running on 2 cylinders would set me back all that year . Nearly ready and going on all four with some new brakes and fuel system I took the car to my mate Scotties garage to do some work I couldn't manage in a council lockup tidy and paint the boot , wire lights indicators line lock and get ready for mot , I would like to thank Scottie for a great job . Last night when doing last minute jobs filling with water the radiator had sprung a leak as I mounted it to close to the front panel , wire brush and soldering iron sorted . The mot this morning disaster when going on to ramp caught the exhaust clamp tore 2 straps and pulled exhaust clean off , not a great start but with some help from mot guy exhaust back on . Deep breath me and my eldest son Stuart go to put some miles on new engine , headed for the borders Eyemouth to see some seals then Berwick had a great day car done good and Stuart shared the driving ill get some pics up later .
  24. I have a pair of refurbished Brembo calipers , the Fiat coupe 20v type ill put some pics up later . Looking for 200 plus post .
