  5. I dont get bored - just frustrated that i cant get the money together to finish it as it is in my head, but i supose that is no different to a lot of people! it's running just great but i want an alloy rad with elec. fans, new front legs, all new breaks and finally get round to having my RS 7j's refurbished. But.......even its not quite how i want it, give me a bit of sunshine and a decent stretch of tarmac and im never happier!
  6. ive seen a set of 6jx13 4 spokes made by ATS with a funny offset, apparently they are in the habbit of making copies of wheels from time to time, or so ive been told!

  11. Some guy knocked on my door yesterday - he really wanted my Capri! Of course i turned him down, but i did point him in the direction of this website - so if anybody has a 3 litre s for sale let me know as he wouldnt go until i took his number off him incase i changed my mind!
  12. worth a crack. while i was out and about last month i saw a rotten capri 3 litre S on someones drive. There was someone in the garden so i asked - told me to piss off! but dont let that put you off - i reakon he was having a bad day! Dave
  13. Had the same dilema with my Capri mate. In the end it got rebuilt - taken back to bare metal - the lot. But i still have a few orange bits poking through! Could argue it was a bad job but it's just old fords! at least if you do it yourself you know its proper, every chance you could get shafted buying a "mint" shell.
  14. True enough mate. But my seat runner has just busted and im in a bad mood with it!
  15. Stopped counting after £10,000 - made me feel sick
  16. Ive had 2 sets go now mate - right pisses you off eh?! just use the standard black plastic ones now to save the hassel
  17. Detail painting for me i think and gettin together more parts to finish it properly (but its never really finshrd is it?)
  18. Proper RS's are getting a bit expensive so if someone puts in the time to make one from a base model then fair play in my book!
  19. i am proud to say i am contributer now!
  20. Hi Ken trickey one mate. ive got supers on mine at the mo as you know but ive just got hold of some 4 spokes and their going on! so i'll say 4 spokes (were you thinking 7j or 7.5j?) but i dont think you can go far wrong either way! Dave
