Oh my god, there is only so much automotive porn, one man can take! Some awesome cars there! Nice work on getting the pics up mate!
-
Oh my word! You own a 2600 aswell!! You are one lucky bugger! I dont blame you in the slightest for not taking them out in the shitty winter, with all the crappy road conditions and salt! Not good for lovely metal work like your Capri's! By the way, im not far from chipping sodbury either! Maybe i can come and drool over your capri's sometime!

Quality vid fella! Not keen on M&M music though haha. Love the little cheeky donut from the mk2 van, funny

Top work, on officially organising it so quickly! Good man/men. I will defo have my car done, this will be an awesome shake down for it! People behind will be smelling the fresh paint! lol I cant wait! 7 months will pass very quickly! So where will it actaully start, as obviously people will be coming from near and far. -
Yeah my heart was set on the green for years, but somehow, some people started putting doubt in my mind! Bastards! haha. Do you think it would be hard to sell (if i ever did have to, god forbid) as that green isnt to everyones taste! Cheers man, my AE86 is my baby! Awesome car in every aspect! Cheers fella. Yeah no worries mate, when i get a chance i'll post up some diagrams! What specifially would you like to see/know about!? And i see you said, 16v jap engine, not 4AGE! What you got in mind? S2000 F20 engine That would be crazy! Aww pants, i didnt even notice there was a project/resto thread until you said! Sorry, still a newbie to this forum! There is soo much on this forum i havnt had time to read/go through it all! Awesome info archive thats for sure. And yeah, the best part of any project is bolting it all back together with shiney bits, new stainless bolts, copper grease everything etc! Very enjoyable! Iam at the depressing stage at the mo! lol Unlucky! haha

Roll call for 2007 London to Brighton summer convoy!
Escota replied to johnny_h's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
This will be the most awesome sight! Just think of the noises too! 40+ osf's drifting around round abouts (on private roads that is, not on the queens lovely royal highways) -
Yeah, them engines are a few pennies worth! Both running twin 50's, both dry sumped, and both over 250bhp! That anglia is something else! The onlt steel part of that is the roof, 1/4 panels, inner wings an floor! Doors/front wings/bonnet/boot/headlamp surrounds etc are all fibreglass! It weighs so little it literatly flies! Especially as its got close on 180bhp 1760 x/flow! Sounds the nuts.
-
Cheers fella! Love your mk2 btw, it was a good read in PPC! No FWD could ever compete against a mighty RWD Scort! Looks like you had some good sideways action too mate! Top man
-
DOH!! I just noticed that too! What a plank. Hopefully a nice moderator would like to move it to the correct section please But yeah, the pink mk2 rocks! The sound is pure sex! 1800cc x/flow too!
-
Just a few select pics of some osf's i hillclimb against! There are many more, but havnt got pics of them. Task for next year And here is a lovely V6 essex engined 100e that turned up at a local classic meet, put on by D&D developments! The meet can be seen in the latest classic ford mag, with the white 4 door XE'd mk2 on the front cover! (thats andy's and also goes to the meets) Oh and here are some tasty engines from my dads work place!

My mk2 RS2000
Escota replied to fezza's topic in READERS RIDES (PAST & PRESENT) PICTURES, BROCHURES & ARCHIVES
Thats just enough room in that car park for some donut pictures! Like it, but yeah completely agree with the lowering, as the 175 tyres look lost as it is. She will be sweet if sat -4" -
Happy new year everyone! I hope to settle down and get to know some/most of you in 2007! About time to considering the amount of years ive been into and owned OSF's! No drinking for me this new years though! Need money for rusty old escorts Oh ok, maybe a few then! Pub it is
-
Damn i was gonna say that! lol Best thing ever, driving your project car for the first time, and kicking that clutch rather visciously whilst going around a round about Looks cool mate! Good luck tomorrow! Why would you think it would fail on front discs and pads?? Im an MOT'er and you can only fail front pads if they are lower than 1.5mm (but most of the time you cant inspect them very well, so let it go with an advise if your warey) And can only fail front discs if excessively scored/pitted. Or have bad imbalance on the brake rollers, apart from that its plain sailing.

That is strange indeed! More power is easily achieved with your set up! Did the rolling road set it up, or just do a power run?? -

aux: mk1 Cortina
Escota replied to aux's topic in READERS RIDES (PAST & PRESENT) PICTURES, BROCHURES & ARCHIVES
I remember that in classic ford! Quite well done if i remember rightly, and looks cool You really gotta look hard to see whats been done, and i think it was the smaller front door that gives it away, but hey, whos complaining! Twin 40's just for the noise Dont worry about consumption if its not a daily hack. Lotus steels all day long, and agree on 1/4 bumpers, but they should not have over riders! No quater bumpers look right with them imo. Just my thoughts anyway. Swet ride though fella
