something like that would be nice. i had one in that colour about 8yrs ago, put a dent in the front wing and then gave it away to make room for a mk2 escort. wish i kept it now as it only cost me £50.

i have just been offered a mk2 xr2 that is in storage and has been there for the last 10 years. i havnt had the chance to look at it yet but apparently it was in mint condition when it was left there. the guy said it belonged to his son but he moved out about 10yrs ago so if i make a sensible offer he would sell it for him. my question is what is the going rate for a decent xr2 barn find that doesnt need much for the mot? thanks in advance.

hello Shane, i joined the Royal Navy at 17 and became an Aircraft Engineer, i travelled all over the place and really enjoyed it but was dissapointed by the way you are treated like a number and not a person so i left. using the qualifications i gain in the navy whilst travelling to other countries getting pi55ed, i now work on the railway as an on track machine operator/fitter/driver and the pay is really good (over 35k), you get to drive a 90tonne machine across the country, use sophisticated equipment that aligns track to set geometry and repair and maintain it; this includes metal work, hydraulics, pnumatics, electric and electronic. every day is differant and i get to play with my cars at home. sorry its long winded but i wanted to show you that you dont have to stay in the same job all your life just make sure you enjoy it and if its not doing it for you anymore just retrain and look for something better that suits you. good luck m8

my old man just had it done at boggy's on his rallyX mk2 escy running an 8v vauxhall lump. dave is an old friend of his so he got it cheaper but he said it was well worth it as the power is there on the button every time.

i agree with all the comments on this thread, she should be spending time with the family and its great that she is gettin all this money for the future of her children. the thing you have to look at is, will the tabloids stop harrassing her for shots to put on the front page if she asked them too? i doubt it very much, so she may as well get what money she can squeeze out of the blood sucking bas*%$ds for the betterment of her children.

i am ex navy and could not get cheaper insurance through the naafi due to the fact i was fleet air arm so always on an air base; vehicles are not insured on airfields or air bases unless it is specifically identified on the policy, which then costs more, more, more. also if you are goin on an airbase, if you dont insure your vehicle for it be careful if you need to claim.

got a halfords trade card myself and it makes a huge difference, you can get at least 50% off batteries let alone tools and parts. i even got panels ordered from hadrian and got discount on them too. well worth having mates that work for halfords.
