  1. It's Flash! Windows XP comes WITH Flash! If you can't see it you must have your security settings very high or something. Or try downloading the latest flash player from www.adobe.com Sorry you can't see it bud! The full videos will be on the site in next 24 hours or so in QT, WMV format.
  2. No, no damage, just got a bit dusty I believe and he may have needed clean undies
  3. Here's a quick preview of Petrolheads 100e "exit" from the Track at Ford Fair: http://www.edturners.tv/tony.html Full Track Video Coming Shortly
  4. My **^&%*&^% Camera started playing silly buggers in the afternoon, I took a total of 89 photos and only the ones you see here: http://www.edturners.tv/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=115 came out anywhere near half decent, what is odd, however is the fact that ALL the pictures I took of the Old Skool Fords came out fine, the ones that didn't were other Fords like Sierras and Focuses etc. Maybe my Camera was trying to tell me something Anyway normally I charge £4.99 for a Hi Res Version of any photograph on the site, but if anyone wants any of the ones featured on the Ford Fair page, just PM me and it's yours for free. I have to say that this is not one of my better albums! C''est la vie! Anyway on a lighter note, I really enjoyed the event and it was great to meet you guys and in particular Tony (Petrolhead1), Darren (Posse) and Ian (Driver) Videos coming soon (including Tony's Spin off) hehe Cheers Geoff

  6. Sorry to be thick but WTF is YKT? Am I missing something? A few brain cells perhaps?
  7. Ok, you want pictures you got 'em here: 300E Thames Van Project I'll be interested to see if there is any differing opinions with regards to the front suspension/steering set up. The guy I've bought it off says that it's all MK2 Escort, is it? Also now I've had an even closer look I'm amazed at how clean(rust free) the body/chassis is. There's obviously a bit of surface rust but nothing drastic. Looking forward to reading your thoughts on my little 'ole van
  8. Unless they've changed the rules, you can take anything off ebay at any time, I took an old Isuzu Troper I was selling off, about 20 minutes before the auction ended because a guy turned up on my doorstep with cash in his hand and took it away. Hope you get your loan from the bank so you can keep your p&j.
  9. Well I wasn't going to say anything just yet, but the place where I got this 300E is an alladins cave of old motors, most of which are rescueable and 80% are for sale. I'm going to be doing a feature on the place next week for edturners.tv, watch out for it. I'll post once it's on the site.
  10. thanks guys, all I gotta do now is offload my jap motor to my bro in law and then I'll have the cash to get my "new" motor on the road! can't wait! If you see someone sniffing around any 300E vans at Ford Fair chances are it will be me
  11. Cripes, gis a chance, I only bought it today! Pics early next week!
  12. As I understand it (and I could be wrong) a hot rod is an old style car, 30's, 40's or early 50's that is a stripped down big motored beastie, where as a Street Rod is a more luxurious version of the hot rod, with billet alloy in bucket loads, big i.c.e etc,etc
  13. I've found it! I've got me a project, Eee, I'm so excited I could crush a grape! I just bought two 100E's, One is a Van, which is the one I'm going to keep and put on the road and the other is a car for any bits that can be used on the van, once I'm done the car (if there is anything left) will be for sale. The Van is a small rear window model and has been dry stored for the last 20 years and already has Mk2 Escort Front Struts and Brakes, but no motor, apparently it once had a V8 in it and judging by the hole in the firewall I don't doubt it! I plan to bring it back to life with a complete spray job inside, outside and underneath, a new interior and cossie or twin cam power. I have no idea what the rear axle is, but am led to believe it is standard 100E!! I'll post pics as soon as I can take some. Any advice on which lump, gearbox and rear axle to go for would be much appreciated!
  14. Hi All. I'm going to be filming at Ford Fair this coming weekend and I'll be meeting up with some of you at the club stand too. I've got a new toy by way of a Camera Bracket to afix my camera to a roll cage, so if there are any of you going out on the track in any OSF Ford please PM me with a Mobile Number so I can reach you on the day and maybe get a video of your laps on the track. The resulting videos from this weekends show will be available to download shortly afterwards from the website below and also any track videos will be supplied to volunteers on DVD too. See you there
  15. and then your off to do burnouts and donuts..... Well yeah, but at least you've saved four tanks of petrol on the way there
  16. Should have a "Ride Sharing" Section on the Forum for this exact reason, it helps others out and car sharing keeps the carbon footprint small (even if only for a day lol!)
  17. reason or another, mostly due to car problems, so if anyone wants to come with me from around the mancester/liverpool area to share petrol etc get in touch via Pm or email, I'll be going early Sunday morning coming back Sunday night.
  18. you're the other end of the country from me otherwise I'd have offered you a lift with me. isn't there any other Forum members near you who can give you a lift?
  19. Well that seems pretty clear then.... Ok next question is, and I hate to admit this, but I'm crap at doing what I call "big stuff" on cars, like engine transplants and stuff, so if I was able to find a suitable basic car, whatever it maybe (but got my eye on either a MK1 Cortina or Pop) can anyone recommend a good place where I can take the car, say put this engine in, put these struts and brakes in and I'll see ya in a few months? I know it's a bit sad that I can't do this sort of stuff myself, but I'm just not mechanically inclined when it comes to this stuff (Computers are my thing) It took more than a year to put the Rover V8 in my old Consul and in the end I had to pay someone else to fix my **** up, so I vowed there and then never to do it again. Rather have a and watch someone who knows what they are doing.
  20. Ok, now you lot have got me seriously considering an 'ole Ford again, I have some questions for you. At the moment I own a Jap Import which despite being only 2.0L costs me, at 45, over £500 to insure, I once owned a 300BHP Corvette and because it was considered a classic, the Insurance was only £250, so my question is this, if I bought, for example, a MK1 Cortina, then transplanted a Cossie or better still small block Ford V8 into it, is it still classed as a Classic and therefore eligble for Classic Car Insurance and, better still, free road-tax or, because it has a newer, more powerful engine in it, is it classed as a Modified Car. Sorry if the answer to this is a no brainer, but things change so fast these days, it's hard to know what's what. Thanks in advance...
  21. Hi mate, yes sorry about that, it is a problem we are having at the moment, along with activation emails sorry Ok, no probs, just thought I ought to let you know
  22. Ok, cool. Hope to see you all at the next meet, (I can't make tomorrow unfortunately.
  23. perfect, when is it on and where?
  24. The Old Skool Ford Club, well ok I know it's not a club as such, but you know what I mean. I'm happy to travel in the North West Area to wherever I can get half a dozen old skool fords together, Liverpool, Manchester, etc. If it's north west I'm there.
  25. Is there a North West "Chapter" or "Arm" to the Club. I want to get about 6 Old Skool Fords together for a Club Profile Video. In an ideal world that would be a Mk1 and Mk2 Cortina, Escort and Capri + 3 other Old Skool Fords , preferably a 105E, Zephyr/Zodiac or Consul and (I know it's a long shot) a Sit Up n Beg Ford Pop. I'm looking at doing this in September sometime. Any attendees will be interviewed by one of our presenters about their car and its history/modifications etc and all attendees will recieve a DVD of the days proceedings once edited and produced. Anyone up for it? Either PM me or catch up with me at Ford Fair where I'm doing some stuff with you guys anyway. Cheers. P.S To the Board Admin, I'm not getting notifications of replies to any of my posts P.P.S.S If you've not already seen it, here is a short video of my Dad's Consul from the late fifties http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7AG_bSgdURA and before you ask, the bird drinking the at the end is not my Mum
