  1. I fitted a recon RS turbo one on mine, was a tight fit (used a slightly smaller belt as it rubbed the battery tray support, only did this after fitting WCXM) but has a output of 70amp (so I'm told), more than enough for my needs think it cost me £30
  2. I use them on mine with drilled & grooved 2.8 disk (with the slight over hang) and with green stuff pads. When I had them on with the standard servo they were so so much better than the standard 1300 solid disks. Now I got a bias box there still pretty good just need lots of force to get it to stop then it ends up locking up lol! When I got them I had no idea on their condition as they were with the Billie struts but they pull the car up straight and test good on the brake tester. Think if I up the power I would get them rebuilt or go for something a little more modern… but having Princess callipers is sort of retro…ish…
  3. Thats Jokes! the questions make it even funnyer!! Part of me think that maybe a few of them questions were serious.... Thought about one for the Escort but looks too modern, maybe they offer pop-up look ones....
  4. Even if it don't make the front end better etc its somewhere to put some stickers... well that’s what I use it for
  5. Thanks! Well I can only half agree, I would like something else...but aswell as this one!!
  6. I donno, if you look in the bid history shows bidder 13 making a few large number bids 5,500 then 10,000 then 35,000+ then bidder 12 bidded 3,000 then 35,000 I know cars can go for good money on there but... lol
  7. There has been a good few times I thought bout selling it! Can’t think of a month even a week that it has run perfect and not had something play up, or has a good streak of a few weeks then something goes wrong! Some times I think it’s destined to stay in my garage being fixed! Also it is always wanting money spent on it, when it plays up normally means more money! But I know if I sell it I would regret it! Then I got to spend even more money to get another escort of the same standard! Vicious circle!
  8. Don’t look a bad film, you would never see an OSF in Fast nd Furious... (Well got to see a little American Mussel) Would kill the Chavs seeing their ‘car idles’ being beaten by an Old Ford on the ¼ mile, they just wouldnt understand....
  9. Mk1 Escort 1720 for the weekends etc Slightly modded Focus RS everyday at the moment... Just sold my 205 1.9 GTi to buy something different maybe XR2i or Escort GTi for everyday commuting... On the look for a nice cheap 2WD cosy with good engine and box as a donor car... But using a Ford Racing Puma at the moment that my sister just brought, well she can have it once I done all the jobs that need doing to it etc, including a nice long road test But nothing beats something RWD!!!
  10. You managed to get it on its side then in the garage, makes life a lot easier! Have to pop by this week and see how it’s going. Recon you will have the welding done at the end of the 2weeks? Be back on its wheels? Thom
  11. Liking the look, bit sleeper! With the bonnet closed there is no knowing whats inside... Sort of look I wanted for mine, but being bright yellow sorta stands out too much...
  12. Looks Very Clean And In Really Good Nic Mate!
  13. Stop complaining and just get on with it What’s wrong with axel stands and just laying on your back getting it done! Hope you get allot done and get in near completion, or at least as a rolling shell. Then we can get on with dropping the motor in and getting it running. Thom
