I rem when I fitted a 1600 manifold on my 1300 (knew I was putting a 1600 in soon) was a nightmare! Couldn’t get on the drive in reverse hit everything, grounded out on something and when I got out and looked couldn’t work out what it caught lol! Most of the problem was the clamp. I got it chopped around so now its about the same as the chassis rail and not had a problem

if i fitted it on mine it would be in the line that goes from the master on the bias box to join where it goes through the bulk head. so if it was on/under the dash (say near on the small parcel shelf thing) or on the trans tunel why would the tester look at it? What about them electrial ones mite not even spot them.... I have to say i never thought about it TBH. I got one but never got round to fitting it or working out where to but it.

Used Kent 244 in my x/flow as engine builder uses them, think he makes his own profiles or modifies them donno but i know there was a kent 244 on the bill

Got the valeter at work to have a go at sorting it out....2 hours later.... Can still been seen at the right angles but so so much better! Gonna leave it as it is for now. He wet and dried it back the G3-ed it the mopped it. He wanted £25 for it so gave him £30! Super job, I cant belive how well it come out!

Be nice if they made the concept at least for a motorshow, so could have a good look round and see what 70's details they would put in, sorta like the GT40, they could have the old 6 clock dash and switches like the GT40.... Engine would be a hard choice tho..... not really retro putting a turbo motor in.....
