If you do not want to distort your panels soda blasting is the way to go. I have recently had my wings and bonnet done - 1st class. Also, as a test they did one of my old Rostyle wheels. This would have taken hours to get rid of the paint etc. It took them between 5 and 10 minutes and revealed it had 5 different coats of paint in the past. It is such a friendly media they can do the wheels/alloys while the tyres are still on. http://www.stationgarage.eu/soda_blasting.htm
