Thanks Vista nut i deffo going for a Mk1 , Thats a nice car and not bad money but ill not be doing the x pack thing again. Going for Slush box as i do city driving 90% of the time and the other is mile munching on motorways .......... 24v cossie with auto box maybe !

Modern car isnt doing for me , 20v and turbo charged isnt flicking the switches it should , I need a modern engined car with good brakes and a dose of 70s tougness , So the plan is a 72 Mk1 capri fitted with power steering a modern 2.0ltr , slammed on 15" black and polished split rims period black interior , modern brakes and auto gearbox for city and commmuting , rewired and daytona yellow with no vinyl roof , A modern GT if you like . Started speaking with Adam @ capri restorations as he did such a good job on the last car. This one will be even nicer than the x pack . I drive 120 miles a day round trip so it needs to be practical above anything else . So lads its back to business . First job to buy the best rolling shell i can . As cheaply as possible Doc

we had students next door having all night parties that woke the baby and kept the block awake , i went round several times the next day to sort it out to get a fook off from some drug dealing twat a quick headbutt soon sorted that out . Mine spent an hour trying to get into the alfa sportwagon at sainsburys for an hour and rings me crying that she cant get into the car .......... I go out to find her and its Wrong alfa ! Easily done there love i say trying to be convincing LOL
