yeah boreham... we got a copy of that article too... that time i'm not in 'escort' world yet.. hehehe... but i knew him from my colleagues here... dunno where is he now.. old members must be knowing him well. i did heard there was somebody from i'm not sure from the UK's or where.. he's a journalist/photographer (maybe an escort fan) came here just to see an original MK1 RS2000 owned by Mr. Ramly.. the only one in Malaysia.. running a pinto, HT1, 205 block with weber twin 48 side draft.. if i'm not mistaken it's already 50DCO/SP.. now the car is a track car for classic car race held here in Sepang International Circuit.. here some of the photos...

as u wish Sir... mk2 with turbo'd SR20. 1st checkpoint at Malacca. Stop for lunch at one of our club mate's home. gathered and ready to take off... the only cortina 4 doors who turn'd up.. silver MK2.. look at those bananas.. nice weather.. a great meet..! do u have palm trees at ur place? hehehhh.... KUALA LUMPUR OSF MK2's clanz.. unfortunately, some can't show up.. i guess the rest u can see it urself.. hope u guys like them.. OLD SKOOL DUDE, The wheels are mostly 15" either 7" or 7.5". but the silver MK2 in the pic were front 15"x7.5' and rear were 15"x8' width.. Most wheels are used, refurb and they are made in JAPAN. Brand: WATANABE RS or BR (Black Racing).
