to far to travel but its easy firstly measure how long you want the hose mark it wrap the marked area in insulation tape (stops the braid fraying) put the hose it the vise an either use a grinder with cutting disk or hack saw to cut the hose take the pipe out the vice an clean the end up dont fray the braid. next step strip the union into three bits slide the nut bit of the union over the braided hose thread goes to the cut end of the pipe. next step remove the tape fray the braid an slide the little brass olive over the plastic pipe push on firmly and make sure the plastic pipe hits the end of the olive. next step slip the last part of the union inside the plastic pipe/brass union then screw the threaded bit to the union tighen the two parts job done
