in a addition of retro or classic this year i saw a volvo t5 2.3 turbo lump (also found in focus RS) in a mk1 looked a bit of a squeeze as its a 5 cylinder where as a 4 cylinder will fit with intercooler and rad without cutting the bulkhead out. vaux 2.0 LET is turbo my bro is into vaux an is converting his XE into LET is much cheaper than cossie what about a zetec turbo convertion not sure about price never looked but its been done loads of time if your willing to cut the bulkhead ever considered skyline its a big lump but good power from the off

you can buy the special ties that go through the fins of the rad to hold the fan on from burtons i havent fitted mine this way but have known them to be used

i have one of these my mk1 esc was slightly lower than std height an handled fine but when i fitted the anti dive i also had adjustable height/dampers at the same time

as above do loads of screws seals gaskets for rebuilds fast an good service

You dont obviously drive quick enough i thrashed the arse of it the only thing that made any noise was the 40's,single box system unless i had the knackered 4.44 in that whined a bit

im using rose jointed an its fine no noise or vibration issues at all
