  1. 3.75 is an atlas ratio , I think you mean 3.77 for an English. Small or big flange as well ? Cheers puddy
  2. Me and the missus really enjoyed this series , have not really watched it since the three stooges left. Much more like its old self. Puddy
  3. You could order a mk2 lotus tina in any colour that was available in the range at the time. They were built at ford unlike the mk1 which was built at lotus and came in ermine to them. So it might not be a special even if it is factory black.
  4. We do them but we are in the heart of osf territory in guildford, Surrey. Cheers puddy
  5. The boys at plough lane garage in sutton know their osf's. I assume its for one of those. Other than that there are a couple of places in guildford i might recommend . Puddy
  6. Whereabouts are you based ? Puddy
  7. Lol , if you could read the script it actually says cosworth, for my other tina Got a lotus badge on the grill to which i have added 'not a ' Puddy
  8. More doors rule , mine and leadfoots at the mk1 Cortina nats last weekend hiding a very tasty2 door tina. Puddy
  9. Lol , not a chance with those ballons ! They will catch the front of the wing / valance on lock and definitely grab the arches over bumps. I did run 185 70 13's on genuine lotus steels but my arch lips have been rolled back. Good luck, puddy
  10. I heard they did and i missed it , anyone confirm this? Cheers puddy
  11. My springs have been decambered as well. Lotus cortinas ran them as standard on leaf spring models iirc Puddy .
  12. Use my mk1 every day. Did do the mk1 tina owners cub do at stratford at the beginning of the month and went to local pub meet as well first tuesday. Must get out more but my 350lc does take up a lot of my time in the summer months. Puddy ps. Was booked for classic ford weekend and Bromley pageant but had head gasket and running issues at the time. All good now tho
  13. Don't forget the nose angle of the diff as well. Mine was pointing upwards when i did mine. I cut the lowering blocks in half to make wedges ala mk1 lotus tina. Puddy
  14. You also need capri rear spring hangers because the eye of the spring is much bigger and will just sit against the chassis leg. Puddy
  15. Are you having a summer show john ? Cheers puddy
  16. Wow i never thought i would see the day that there was no osf stand at cf show. Worse than that the absolute apathy that there isn't one. Guess the two go hand in hand. Is this the beginning of the end of 'old skool ford' ? Puddy
  17. Really ? When I was testing , the data base at dvla / visa dictated what needed checking . Puddy
  18. Bought my mk1 tina a gallon of fuel and fired it up again , haven't used it for a couple of months. Had a look at my mk2 in the lockup today when I had to pick up a couple of wheels and wished I hadn't lol Puddy Ps. Col don't forget what I said about 5th gear on the t5 gbox rebuild.
  19. I think you will find that a "w" reg is 1980 / 81 not seventies ........ lol
  20. How are they going to mot a car that is exempt , I assume that when the tester puts in the vehicle details on log in , it will not come up ? Puddy
  21. Yes mate
  22. I don't have a problem with race cars on the road , but in my opinion it was over engineerd in some areas and under in others. Puddy
  23. Still looks pretty ................. but having been in it a fair few times and even Mot'd it once or twice , I am not quite as enthusiastic as some people . puddy
  24. Saw Jims old Cortina at the Ace this summer at the Tina meet . Current owner has had it a few years now . puddy
