Mexicoed mk3 Cortina, i think one of these might be the one What do you guys think?

I thought i would take the colour from my old mk1 Escort Mexico and try it on the Cortina

This was the original colour of the car which is fern green.

Well I got my self Photoshop last night and have been learning how some bits work on it so here goes

Been thinking about colours again, can someone please change the vinyl roof colour to a gun metal grey (as it will painted) and put a thin stripe from the front along the top of the wing to the back of the car following the rear wing curve

Yea i have a set of half leather Rover Tomcat seats for my Cortina

Funny as one of the ideas I had was a lighter copper than it already is but with a silver roof where the vinyl was and a couple of silver stripes low down on the doors or somewhere like that. But I do like this too I see you have given HOFF a bit of a roof chop in your Photoshop, looks good

I have bits of carpet in my garage beside the house where I keep and work on most of my motorbikes, as it’s easier on the knees and it is stopping any oil getting into the concrete floor before I get a chance to paint it. The farm shed (old chicken shed) I rent for keeping and working on my cars couldn’t have carpet in there at the moment as its so damp but I have just painted the walls to brighten it up a bit and the floor to seal it, has taken me weeks with all the shit I have had to move about to get a bit done at a time, but I finished it yesterday so now its time to sort out what is going where and bin the rest

The green and blue are quite striking but its not going to have a vinyl roof anymore, could paint it a different colour though

Id says you did the right thing mate. He was obviously not driving, manoeuvring or parking his car in the correct manner, if someone is walking on the pavement then they have the right of way and not a car driving on to it even if they are accessing a driveway (same rules apply at zebra crossings, pedestrians have the right away) If he did call the cops then im sure they just told him to stop wasting there time! Like you say you didn’t lay a finger on him so there is no crime there on your part. If anything dose come of it just say that you were suspicious of him being drunk and that could be the reason he was driving perhaps slow but erratic and unaware of his surroundings!

Here is a couple of pics of my 2.0L Capri, I just got her on the road after saving her from the crusher then fitting a new wing and front valance on her as well as the bonnet of a black 2.8I I broke for spares. It could do with a full resprey to make her good but that takes money so it will have to do for now And this is my MK3 2door Cortina, it doesn’t look like this now as I have stripped her down for a full rebuild with a bit of a twist
