A few years ago a mate of mine who is a self employed painter n decorator got an 18 month ban for a very similar thing.......it was christmas day and he had got his nipper an electric motorbike so after a session at the pub till dinner , after dinner took his nipper n leccy bike to wasteland behind his house .........along comes Mr Policeman and well after my mate thought he was joking ended up with the 18 mth ban......

I had an RS2000 very similar to yours about 18 years ago same colour and stripes and had lotus rims on it for many years though i painted my wheels body colour i think the term was "colour coded" back then , so i would go with the steels . i have 3 sets of RS 4 spokes that i dont use as im not keen on them im a steels person ....

Keep hold of it mate even if you just stick it in a garage out the way i know the no dosh bit ive hardly worked since november last year but its the old Ford that keeps me normal .....sold cars in the past and regretted it

The one that got away that had my name on was attatched to a TC Marina and was around here for years then 10 years or so ago i saw the car with plate in a scrape yard just around the corner it read HUD 50N i went in and asked and matey said 200 quid i was well chuffed then he said the plate had gone on a Merc and he thought i just wanted the Marina still im not really a personal plate type.....

I got 2 12" fans off a VW sharon that my lad had in his yard all for nowt , thats what kids are for......aint fitted them yet though.

Theres a BMW thats been around a while reg reads BBC 1 OK , and the Mayors car in Oxford has FC 1 on it , a few years ago a couple of the top footie clubs were trying to buy it especially Man utd but for some reason its still on the Mayors car......

Following on from my question on the other Boxhill thread i am trying to find out the address or postcode or what Boxhill actually is ?? ive googled it and put it in various route planners but locations range from one end of the country to the other so could someone help me out so i can come to the next meet ,Thanks Mark

If it was finished and on the road and turned up at a meet / show / whatever i bet there would be a big crowd around it ..........Perhaps the owner has only got a small/short garage

I saw Chubby a few years ago in Oxford and after that im not over keen as alot of his material is well old and used , he actually walked of the stage for nearly 2 hours as alot of people were shouting back the punch lines before he even finished the joke.......my mate see's him acouple of times each year when he's gigging and he says he aint what he was......But youll have a good night

I dunno who first thought of it but ive had dice in my cars since the late 70's when i was a learner at 17 and seem to have them in all my motors since i even have a set i made possibly 25 years ago that are about an 1" cubed that i had in a chopped car i did and the brought ones were much too big as they blocked your vision....

It will need to be insured aswell , usually done on the chassis number as the MOT will also have the chassis number on it , the dvla then take the MOT along with other paperwork and change the chassis number on the MOT to the new reg they issue....usually the duty/VAT is paid by the person that imports it into the country and custom & excise dont usually let them off the docks etc till its been paid (a receipt is given as proof) though Malta being in the Eu may mean no duty owed ? ive imported from other countries but not Malta.....Hope this helps

No mate mine is straight white i was actually talking to the owner of the van you saw at the Kassam just before i got the tools , the white/ blue stripped van is from Witney so the owner told me and he pointed out it had the factory rear seat in it , which he proceeded to show me , seemed like a decent sort.....

Just got back from a drive out with she who must be obeyed so called in at aldi and got 2 sets of shears and 2 of the 3''cut off tools had a good look over them and all inclusive of warranty etc ,if they last a year or so there worth it and im sure thell last longer, the garage equipment was flying out in trollys in the 15 mins i was there just about every bloke brought something............cant see much being left in a day or so
