I think were all the same in the when its running good its the best car in the world and when it dont or plays up its a pain and we hate old cars..... ............And why do cars always seem to drive/run great the day you have someone coming to buy them then you dont want to sell

Re-fitting the drivers side exhaust manifold (on my 1954 V8 Pop) i took off today and rebrazed a couple of cracked bits ??? never seen before but now as good as new then giving a blast.......................but something will go wrong ...

Right then today i got involved with one of my lads mates with a fairly new Vw VR6 he took it for an MOT and discovered that the rear passengers floor pan had virtually rotted away i was amaised so in a panic he askes me to weld in new section etc ,so moving on 3 or so hours were all done and swapping the cars over putting Cozvan back in garage after being sat out in the rain whilst i have the Vw in the dry and he says i aint ever been out in your van so i say get in then and give him about 15 mins of f**k me type language most of the time the wheels were spinning which he was well into as it drove from the correct end, moving on abit and he says im getting the VR6 MOTed then selling it and getting a Cozzy that vans mental , as they say If you can convert just one bla bla bla

Trouble is this sort of thing is happening all the time and nothing gets done to sort the problem out , the only loosers are the hard working tax paying / retired types , it seems to be the generation off you cant hit/smack me or teachers cant give out any disipline , dont get me started with the "back in my day" but its true and none of the slipper/cane/detentions i had at school did me any harm.......Christ i sounded like my Dad then

That pic reminds me of a mate going back 20ish years ago who took a girl home in the early hours after a night out she said come in etc etc he came out an hour later got in fired up the car let the clutch up and .....nothing so got out and discovered the wheels missing.................it was discovered a few weeks later that it was the girls brother and was a set up and the car was a mint MK2 RS2000................needles to say that was 1 thieveing b%*%*%*d that got justice.................i hope you discover who thieved your wheels....

Flux's are usually the best for younguns my lads pinto 100e was just under 1100 last year and 700 this year he's 20 .............others didnt want to know......... and thats with all the mods declared........

B&Q thats says it all a few weeks ago went in got what i wanted and this non speaking englanda type puts me through the self pay bit , well to cut a long story short i had stuff that was get 5 for the price of 4 ..........it actually cost me 30 quid more thanks to her assistance......Memo re B&Q never again..

If your car is older than the A reg then if you really want a 3 letter 3 digit plate you can get one as the DVLA will issuse you one but i think youll have to prove the date of manufacture etc , will need letters etc from owners clubs etc.........had a mate years ago was mad on getting rid of the A and getting the 3 n 3 plate.........

Good choice as in the sporting world one of the highest accolades has to be captain of the England football team ? he hasnt been dropped he'll still play but there should be a bit of trust and honesty with your fellow team mates and many youngsters look upto footballers etc.............not that im too bothered as there all overpaid for what they actually do...........

A mate of mine who i grew up with his family originated from there though he was English told me about the cars there as he has been over many times , when his dad went back about 10 years ago to retire he took 3 mk1 Capris with him and they were tatty items , his dad reckoned that islanders would be trying to buy them off him on the docks as cars are not easily avaible......

Tipex out the details of the person who's details have been filled in and put your details on with the date you got it , you dont know that it possibly sold then the sale fell through it does happen , i have done this a couple of times and all seems ok or do the Trader mate route ...
