i think it used to be the case on the old land rovers that you could cut them off and it would pass as it wasnt structural , i may be wrong but that rings a bell from some mates who were big on off roading on a budget

i had a combo van come in for its mot today and no joke there was no bolts from caliper to carrier 2 were snapped and 2 were missing, both bottom ball joints were that bad my tester refused a brake test on the grounds that he didnt think it would last the test . this van was a 57 plate company van on 105,000 so im in agreement with most of you 12 months is long enough because company car drivers and general public just dont care as long as it starts and drives...........

now the winter is on the way im thinking about changing the engine in me anglia for next year. im toying with a 1.6 turbo lump but i dont want a cozzy i want reliable performance let me know if you have any ideas or anything in a corner that could be fun cheers guys !

thay only have six months to do you for speeding coz i got caught and a letter turned up on my door step 3 days before i moved awarding my 3 points for great driving i think ! so i ignored it and moved. two and a half years later i got balifs letters for un paid court costs of which i knew nothing about . it turns out that coz thay didnt do me for speeding within six months thay had taken me to court for failing to prove a driver but as i didnt know anything about it i went to court for a first time looked at the pic of me doing 42 in a 30 admited everything and got let off coz it was to late. it was a strange feeling telling the court yep thats me speeding and walking out scott free .

that was the first time at this meet but not the last , see ya next month. . .

try adrian flux for your insurance , my anglia has a 1700 xflow and other mods and all you have to do is just list the mods and thay will quote you a premium . i found them cheap and helpful.
