Just put Glory Box on again, and it's made my morning
-
This could take some time, but off the top of me head; Faze action - Trees Portishead - Glory box (live in New York version, with a bit of scratching ) Sebastien Tellier - La Ritournelle (Been described as Unfinished sympathy part 2) All CLASS!

Im trying to get sat navs banned at my work. We have drivers who used an A-Z and common sense and got places fine, no bother. Now they just switch off their brain and blame the fooking thing when it sends them down a dead end/road into a lake/on to a beach/off the end of a fooking pier!!! Normally in a 26 tonne wagon towing something!! And another thing! I see cars with sat navs stuck on middle of the screen, directly in the drivers line of vision. So if they're on a straight flat road, it completely blocks their view of the rear of YOUR beloved osf!!! I had some bint in a Hyundi (im glad i can't spell it ) cackbox lock up behind me at some lights the other day, Once i'd finished shitting myself, i got out to see if she was alright, and suprise, suprise, a satnav the size of a fooking laptop smack bang in front of her pretty, but empty as fook head. I want to start a campaign to get all satnavs gathered up and burnt in a big pile (like nazis with books) WHO'S WITH ME!!

This has just shocked me. Im salaried, but expected to work outside contracted hours. Worked it out honestly, taking holidays etc into account. . . . less than £10 per hour. I feel a mug.

Just shit. Why can't they just leave stuff alone? I had one nicked and torched, so i do feel for you mate.
-
Well in mate, top job. I will donate £50 to a charity of your choice if you can get an osf sticker on a F1 car on telly. Serious.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Im claiming that as my own in the pub tonight. -
Hmmm . . . I've worked in plant and tool hire for 8 years. In my time my depot has been through 25,000 hire contracts. All the grief and shite and unreasonable demands and penny pinching and complete and utter bare faced lies our customers (builders) get from their clients, is just passed up the chain to us. They all think they've got 90 day terms (and that's just before they start saying the previously quoted price is NOW too much), none of them ever ever ever admit to damaging equimpment, and when they're trying to beat me down on price and i explain that we would actually lose less money by leaving the equipment sat in our yard, i get told "not my problem, that's all i'll pay, and if you don't do this, i'll never use you again". The current bulge in building firms going pop owing us big money, all with amazingly zero assetts, only to start up again next month with the same guy's wife/kid/dog as the new company director is particulaly disheartening. Don't get me wrong, there are some good guys out there (mostly members on this site im sure) but, i have little sympathy for most of them.

Wanted the Fasta an eeny-weeny bit lower, which meant a rear tyre/arch interference problem. My mark 1 arch roller (basically half a skateboard) wasn't up to the job, just not meaty enough. So, here's mark 2; Hub plate made from old wheel and some box section. Bolt to hub. Rest of it is held on with quick release pins. Only bit i had to buy was a polyurathane pallet truck wheel. Adjuster a bit half finished , but hey-ho wanted to give it a go! Forgot to take any more pics until i'd finished. Worked well, seemed to be at the end of it's travel on a fiesta arch. Made it 'cos they're £250 to buy and i was only going to use it once. Now considering a rent-for-beer type scheme available only to OSFer's. . . . Any takers?

Deffo BMW e30, very well put together. I've had 5, all cost less than £500 each, a total of 25-30k miles between them with a total of 2 breakdowns. Mk1 fiesta is a nice idea, (iv'e got 2), but they're too easy to nick, you worry every time you leave it parked up. £2k would get you a very nice e30, and would probably keep it's value a lot better than modern, soulless vectra/mundaino/peugeot wind tunnel shaped blob.

weve got a mk1 Fezzy on the road yes oh yes!!!!!!

That is NICE Sam . Skinny bumpers, rare colour, solid round the edges. Good find mate. Get it decked on some 4 spokes -
Eeeeeek! I know that feeling, it's like your sphincter has to press the brake pedal.

That belongs to a guy called called Donny from near Preston. It was sat in his garage when i went to collect a mk2 estate off him about a month ago. Has a turbo'd cossie yb in there. The arches are steel, and the wheels are peugeot fitting borbets. Very very nice.

. . . but it was well worth it. Haven't got round to putting number plate back on the front since fitting ugly spoiler, so it lives on the dash in the windscreen for the mo. Mr and Mrs volvo traffic car didn't think this was a good look for me, so asked me to pull over to discuss the matter. So we're all sat in the volvo "co-operating", considering the pros and cons of lowered suspension, while Mrs lady-cop fills in the paperwork, glancing up at the rear of my car. Then she gives me the vehicle defect form. I point this out to daddy-cop, who also pisses himself laughing, and gloats like feck whilst telling her the error of her ways. She now wants to get it back off me and do another one, both me and daddy-cop both shout in unison "NO WAY!" He obviously wanted to show it to all his mates too. :mrgreen1:

Which bit of the dvla website. . . .
Von Thrash replied to Von Thrash's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
Hmmmm. . . . The transaction was a simple one, I gave the seller some cash, he gave me the car and a complete un-written-on V5 in the name of the owner before him. Should i complete this as if i bought the car from the guy on the V5? A squiggle for his signature, send it off, and hope for the best?
