For sale is a Genuine Ford Escort MK2 Boot Lid trim lower chrome trim strip. As used on Escort MK2 Ghia & any other model that had the bottom edge chrome trim strip. Brand new in sealed bag. £90.00 but no Postage on it, as it would arrive with you like a Dog's back leg. Collection from North Wales.

For sale is my standard MK2 Escort Mexico gearbox (Type E four speed). For sale as now fitted my close ratio type E box. Same as RS2000 ( as is Ford Cortina 2.0). Excellent condition, no bellhousing or gear lever, as they went back in on the CR box. Collection from North Wales. £375.00

Found the white needle rev counter, £65.00 plus £5.00 postage.

Here I have a brand new Genuine Ford Clock for the Ford Escort MK2 (Also Capri MK2), time clock that fits in Center console but has all white hands, not Orange & white as in later Ghia's, so very early 1975 type. Brand new in the box, £40.00 plus £5.00 post, also new white needle speedometer 0/140 MPH again "WHITE" needle not orange £60.00 plus £5.00 postage, did have a new rev counter the same, but have not found it, things move around and hide in other boxes.

I have no longer a use for my brand new crated Pinto 2.0 un-leaded cylinder head. Brand new, not a re-con unit, un-leaded exhaust seats, complete with 8 new valves (Ford), 8 new cam followers (Ford), 8 new ball stud adjusters (Ford), 8 new follower springs (Ford), 8 new valve springs (Ford), 8 new stem seals (Federall Mogul), new Camshaft (Ford), this head is not assembled, all lose parts in the packets or bags, no valve spring top seats or collets for the valves, would have removed from a spare head, obviously has new cam bearings in the casting, no cam thrust plate or any bolts, but all brand new. Could be posted in it’s own crate box, but it will weigh a fair bit, standard valve sizes, but un-leaded seats, very nice collection of genuine Ford parts. £750 or very-very nearest offer.

Hi Big G, Cheers, but it is a geared starter that I want to replace with an original short bodied Lucas starter motor with, as I am going down the from factory original route with my RS2000, but cheers all the same.

I have a set of four that have been turned from solid Aircraft grade aluminium, they have been black anodized, and then the RS in the center has been laser etched, they look 99.9999% the same as the originals, but I cannot find the guy that made them, they are AMAZING, the quality is superb, I am pretty sure they were turned on a CNC lathe, I will have to try and put some pictures up, they are that good.

Hi, I had exactly the same message for my request for a "SHORT BODIED RS 2000 STARTER MOTOR", contacted Vista on here and he checked & it was a SCAM, and removed him straight away, dam SCUMBAGS, the lot of them.

Was the last set on Ebay brand new !!??, these are used with what looks like stickers on the center of the caps, they have gone up in price A LOT since I bought them, wow.

I bought 4 gen RS B/H along with a "Close ratio" type "E" box from a banger racer in Plymouth for £125, but it was back in 1987, never ever got around to putting the box into a road car to replace the "wide ratio" box as standard, been told unless your after "SPRINTING" stick with the normal "E" box, but never driven anything with the other type in, so don't know.

Just out of interest, just been into my garage and measured a standard cast B/H as opposed to a RS2000 ali type, and the RS2000 B/H is smaller, so might just fit, I have never done a 5 speed conversion, all my cars are the standard 4 speeds.

It does indeed bolt up to a Type 9 5 speed, but the bell-housing is larger in diameter than the outgoing type 2 gearbox, so you will have to massage the tunnel as required to get the box/bell-house in. I am pretty sure the only Escort MK2 body shell that does not require much if any knocking about, is the Automatic cars, as they have a larger transmission tunnel in the first place.

There used to be "RECOPROP" in the 70's 80' & 90's done a few for me, very-very good, not sure if they are still about doing Commercial props, used to be based in Luton. I think the shell for a 2 piece prop has some differing metal work to support the center bearing/carrier, a single piece prop needs nothing in the middle of the floor pan, if your only using the car for normal use with out any fancy stuff, the single prop is the way to go, more cost effective, easier to work on, only 2 joints, and I am sure the singles pop up for sale often.

Hi, NOT PLASTIC, they are the original pressed stainless steel caps's as used on MK2 Escort GHIA, but have a black coating on them for the Mexico & others that used Sport's wheels with Black cap's not Chrome finish as used on Ghia's, very-very rare, I have only come across one other full set new of these about 12 years back, I bought them to put on my MK2 Mexico, still on the shelf in there boxes, and I paid £35.00 for the 4 from POWDERHAM Castle show, the guy was asking £40, so I said £35, he said done, so I had them, could sell & make a HUGE profit, BUT my Mexico has the deep dish Sports wheel's so needs the black cap's, so I will fit them one day. You don't see new black stainless steel caps crop up very often, as I say, this is the second lot in the last 12+ years, I would have give £400.00 for the 4, but to me, not worth double, BUT I think they will go up by the end of auction.

Hi, Having a clear out, and have 2 pairs of Essex V6 3000 cylinder heads, the later "D" port type NOT OVAL PORT. No use to me on any of my engines, so if someone wants them & can collect, you can have them free. Complete heads with valves etc-etc, prob require overhaul as in seats cutting, maybe guides if too slack, but all complete. Located North Wales

I have a 1600 GT Ford Pinto engine free to whoever wants it & can collect. Complete minus the inlet & Carb & exhaust manifold. Still has flywheel & clutch on, engine mountings, alternator, dizzi, fuel pump, steel sump, etc-etc, removed from a Capri MK1 Facelift GT, good cam as it was nice & quite when I had the car running. Located in North Wales. Ta.

I have a Capri MK1 Pre-Facelift flat bonnet, no rust, inside edge lip as new, has been scratched on the N.S. front corner where it has been stood up and the previous owner "Walked it style" and scrapped the corner, so needs prepping back to shape & painting, no longer need a used bonnet as have replaced with new panels, located in North wales, and free to whoever can use it and collect it, I am not able to deliver in any form sorry. I would has at a guess that the nut's, bolt's, washers and the like will be worth scrap steel weight in money only !!??, nobody is going to want to stock that or try and sell it off, it is probably modern Ford assembly line miscellaneous production stuff, as I say, scrap weight value.

Not only that, the V4 was the "COLOGNE" V4 (GERMAN), so it had the dizzi at the rear, & Siamese'd exhaust ports so it looked like a V2. Our UK V4 although not a great engine, did have separate ports, and the dizzi at the front and did sound quite nice (quirky), I always had a soft spot for them because I am an old softy, and when I was an apprentice, the works Transit's had V4's in them, and it stuck with me. xx (Tears in eye's as I roll down Memory lane). xx The Cologne V4's (and V6's), never floated my boat, not as nice as a proper Essex.

I did mention that to the seller and he said it was a Genuine UK car, then removed that picture from the listing, I do think he knows it's not a genuine Mexico, but is trying to profit from the genuine values of genuine car's, and I think that is naughty & deceitful.

This is a picture from the first time listing, this is not what I would expect from a UK Mexico, I know that "REPLICAS" exist, but I am against selling a replica at the same price as the GENUINE Mexico, he has since removed this picture after I contacted him to ask if it was a UK Mexico, he replied "It is a Genuine UK car, and have had it checked by Fords themselves" But would you not be "Pi**ed off" if you bought this thinking it was genuine & it was not !!??.
