...on my winter zetec plans, bought some bits today including an engine stand and some high temp paint. decided im going to push the boat out and use Weber Alpha full kit. I will start a thread in projects section when i take her off the road

Dont think im going to mate to be honest, i dont go far places often enough to justify cutting up the tunnel. Just bought my engine mounts too, 68 quid delivered not bad

All u need are lowering blocks for the box mount, the shift hole's in the right place.

Nah mate, you can bang a 5-speed Type 9 box into yours without any cutting, presuming it's a genuine RS shell.
