Doc Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 So had an auto electrician (thanks sammyboy!) work on the car today for an hour , Cleaned the carb and filled her with fresh fuel ............... Started up almost first time after two years standing and ticked over perfectly ! Bit tappetty cos its a CVH but that's an easy fix ! She Lives ! Just brakes to bleed and some new fuel pipe where i found a leak and she can go for MOT ! Getting there !

Just me being curious Ive seen two or three done . It needs the front leg mounts sorted but then the whole front subframe with suspension engine etc from an XR2 slips up underneath and bolts in ! Fit the rear beam and suspension and its done . Uses the steering column from the fiesta too . I didnt do it but makes for a reliable daily driver !
