New to the forum so hi, and please bare with me,I have a pair of bands from a 70's Mk1 esc rally car but was under the impression they weren't road legal, however according to this months Practical Classics if they're welded by a firm with a lloyds Gas certificate one for welding, and you inform your insurer then alls fine, so when my 2door mk1 tina eventually gets on the road guess what it's getting.

can the banding be added to the outer lip only?? what does it show like on the inside of the wheel? are the weld marks present like on the inside of the wheel??
