james p Posted April 4, 2007 Author Report Posted April 4, 2007 its a steel wheel cut in half and made wider by welding in a section its a big thing with stock cars if you look on the second pic the 2" bit in the middle you can see the weld lines either side

michael11 Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 New to the forum so hi, and please bare with me,I have a pair of bands from a 70's Mk1 esc rally car but was under the impression they weren't road legal, however according to this months Practical Classics if they're welded by a firm with a lloyds Gas certificate one for welding, and you inform your insurer then alls fine, so when my 2door mk1 tina eventually gets on the road guess what it's getting.
