Have had snails in Belgium, with a mustard sauce, however you dress them up it is still like eating elastic bands.

 

Perhaps we could have a competition to see who has eaten the strangest things. I will start you off with guinea pig, a bit like chicken but greasier and with very little meat on it.

theres a pub near me that does ostrich burgers, not tried one yet as they have always stopped serving food when i get there

there's a place in bakewell in derbyshire that sells all types of weird stuff, like alligator steaks, buffalo stakes etc... need to get down there again and see what they got :D

i like beetroot and icecream...

 

in fact there's not much i won't eat with icecream...

theres a farm that keeps buffalo for the steaks between bakewell and chesterfield, need to try some of them to :D

I had Reindeer when I was in Helsinki a few years ago.

 

I've had snails a couple of times too.

 

The worst thing I've ever eaten was a bowl of Ready Brek which was past it's sell by date when I was at school (accidentally). I was ill with severe vomiting and diarrhea

Alligator costs a fortune (£15 for a steak! :shock: )

 

Have you seen how much you have to pay someone to get in there and catch one, then kill it!!!

has anyone been to iceland and had shark? apparently they let it rot slightly and it either smells or tastes like piss :?

kangaroo is nice

crocodile was really tough

giraffe is good

osttrich burgers are not all that

wild boar is good

rabbit is really nice lol

elk is fairly bland ...

reindeer is good

but my favourite has to be roast beast :P we have it for xmas dinner

 

8 chicken legs

roast beef as the body

pork chops stood up pointy bit up to make horns

with a tail of sausages and an all over coat of coctail sausages wrapped in bacon
