Gareth Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Man that's a good buy... my GXL cost me a grand There's somethin about a MK3 in Daytona Yellow.
Richierich Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 That looks a decent motor! I didn't know they put 1600 pintos in mk3! Thought they used 1600 xflows? There seems a lot of people asking a bit too much for osf's on ebay, been looking at an anglia, its been on there 3 times! reckon the blokes just being a bit greedy!

I think its got somethin to do with people not really knowin what they've got, that are usin Ebay as a price guide... ...And yes being greedy, tryin to make a quick buck.
jamesg Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 the paper said they have doubled in value since the show
Gareth Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 the paper said they have doubled in value since the show I doubt they've gone up that much. People are sellin 'em for twice as much but not gettin askin price or a sale. Anyone that knows what they're lookin at wont pay £2k+ for a GXL needin cosmetic work or a GT needin a resto. Look at the 105E after Harry Potter came out. Similar thing happened. Whooo mine must be worth £800 now!!! You got yours for a bargain price m8. Tax exempt 2 door?? I'll have two please :D:D
