tc28d Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 It's been found. Echo appeal leads to return of classic car By Andrew Napier Comment | Read Comments (3) A WINCHESTER classic car enthusiast has been reunited with his cherished Jaguar - thanks to the Daily Echo. Roger Lloyd, pictured, was beginning to think he would never see his beloved white Jaguar XK120 roadster again. The 1951 model, valued at about £40,000, went missing from his home in Hensting Lane, Fishers Pond, when he was on holiday last month. Following publicity in the Daily Echo, Mr Lloyd received an anonymous tip-off with details of the car's location. Police found it on a remote farm in an undisclosed location in Hampshire and arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle. The man was released on police bail until July 29.
Nige S Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 That's good news, and not too far away from where I live either.
