Remember I was wondering whether to sell the Cup Final ticket for £1500?

 

Well I didn't sell it, went to the game and got my head kicked in Saturday night because I was wearing a Chelsea shirt!

 

I now have a broken jaw and six stitches in my head!

 

So the moral of the atory is, that if you have a chance to Sell something for silly money........TAKE IT!

not all football fans are thugs m8 , i"m a Millwall supporter...and yes , i know all the termanology shouted at / by us , its a minority of mindless , usually in high-powered jobs , dickheads who get there kicks by kicking the sh*te out of unfortunate people like Osgood...catch them on there own though , and they wouldn"t say boo to a goose !

I got put off football by having to Police Gillingham matches, standing in the away stand between the home fans and the away fans, there is always the minority who just want to go to the match to taunt the other fans, nob ends the lot of them, hope you get better soon bud

I've been going to footy regularly since I was 15 and this is the first time I've been done over.

 

Usually I can spot trouble a mile off, but I had, had a skinfull and was 30- miles from the ground at the time so my guard was off!!

 

Any way, I live to tell the tale so got to be gratefull for small mercies, could have been a lot worse!

My "home" is now Kilmarnock, where my Mrs and boys live ( i split my time between there and Maidenhead). We moved up 4 years ago and until I moved I had no idea how intense the hatred was between Celtic and Rangers!.....I have steered my eldest boy(10years) away from them both and he follows Killie where we can have a safe enjoyable game of footy and a great pie, as for the youngest (10months) I think I'll buy him some spanners instead of a football for his first birthday in July!

I Moved up near there when I was 14, I think the first question I got asked when I started school was

 

"whit team dae ya support??"

 

I saw the trap coming and said McLaren

 

to which I got

 

"nah fitba ya eedjit!"

 

I dodged the question and continued to do so for the next four years. Religion & football combined have a lot to answer for in terms of racial hatred!
