Gilli Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 I've been keeping the mk1 over in a friends place while my garage has been getting a few modifications. Got a call from him to say that his car transporter had been nicked but that my car was safe. Needless to say i went round there asap and took my baby home only to notice a load of scratch marks on the B-pillar where someone had been trying to pry the glass out..... Am just thinking how easy it would have been for them to haul my car up onto the transporter and head off with it as well. Only thing that saved me was the massive chain round the wheel & that it was on full lock away from the door. A word of warning, keep those gates locked, cars out of sight and if anyone drives in looking for directions tell then to fook off... These guys were in and out in less than 2 minutes
