Trying to take off on a humptyback bridge.

I went over doing about 30 and the thaught occured, i could try getting some air.

So i promptly made my way back and hit it at about 50. I couldnt get a good run up. But of course, the car had a rough landing anyway, even though it didnt quite take off (i dont think anyway) and then it winded me.

Bloody hurt aswell, hate being winded. Had to pull over for a sec.

Not best pleased. At least i had a go though.

Anyone else ever been airbourne before?

I was in the Triumph.

If i was in the Cortina it wouldve bottomed out cause its so low.

Does anyone have any pictures of cars in the air?

i have had wheels off the ground when i had a 106 :shit: on a humpback bridge near bakewell, also a hill in matlock levels halfway down for about 8 yards which you can grab air off, also a road on my way to work if hit at the right speed you can get wheels skipping off the road a bit :lol::lol:

Some awesome pics!! I jumped my breadvan polo off a bridge trying to write it off (it was already smashed up I just wanted to finish it in style!!) the front wheels where about 4ft off the ground and I don't think the backs left at all, lots of scrapage & sparks though!!

Past Birkenhead Fire Station, then floor it heading away from town, just brace yourself when you come to the lights!!! I've never had the balls to tonk it through, but I reckon I was in the air doing about 50!
