4parajon Posted June 19, 2007 Author Report Posted June 19, 2007 In my original post I added a couple of links to karting places, one in the north west and one in Yorkshire and my initial thought was too see where the majority of people live and book the venue there, think that would be the fairest way of doing it. It seems there's only me from this side of the pennines so far, so I'll have to see if I can do a bit of troop rallying
Burns Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 yeah, get drumming up the support looking like yorkshire's quite central so far

ZetecVan 2.0 Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 1. 4parajon - Manchester2. Burns - Leeds 3. Dave Waudby - York 4. Zetec Van - Bradford 5. Jim - nottingham 8. mk14dr - Wakefield The carting place in wakey is literally round the corner from my house You could all come for a brew afters I've been to that one and wasn't impressed with the organisation or mechanical condition of the carts. In our race I ran out of petrol, then then the rear wheel bearing broke in the replacement cart. My mates front wheel came off while cornering. Three or four other carts broke too. In just one race. No one drove into anyone else or crashed to cause these breakages. The guy blamed us for 'driving too hard'. It spoilt our day, so I'm not going back there. The one I mentioned near York is organised well and the owner is a top bloke. Used to run one near Selby (I think).
mk14dr Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 wakey dosn't sound too good anywheres else good for me tho and i don't have to wash all those cups up either
