BaileyMex Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Try our sponsor Piper Cams there a helpful bunch
Admin Vista Posted June 18, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 18, 2007 They're both top makes of Cam, are you planning on having the engine built or building it yourself? If you're having it built, discuss it with the builder, explain in detail what you want from the engine and then take his recommendation Re the head work question, it's not necessary with all cams but to see real benefit from a cam swap and seeing as your engine is apart anyway, it's worth having some porting and flowing work done. I'd also take the trouble to fit unleaded seats.
caprixpack Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 i've always used piper and they#ve never let me down, i usually go for the 285 lol
